In the 7th ed., 4-D-1 "The Gateway" Homer goes on to re-emphasize the importance of the Flat Left Wrist. In the 2nd paragraph he defines A Double Wristcock, which confuses me, more-so, as to what point & relevance he's trying to convey.

My question to the forum: This "Gateway" section is obviously very important. (I realize that the priority of the FLW is being stressed.) Personally, I'm having trouble following logical progression of this section & the relevance of the title "Gateway". Can somebody summarize for me(a novice)& also tell me what Homer meant by "Gateway"?
